36years young Triple Bypass Surgery

Thump. Thump. Thump. Shh... Quiet. Listen. Do you hear it? Again. Thump. Thump. Thump.

Each thump is the beat of your heart

The average heart beats 86,400 times each day. Without a doubt, we take each beat for granted. Never really hearing or paying attention to the 86,400 miracles happening to each and every one of us.

All hearts are made of the same material. Each is performing the same miracles. So, what does it mean when we say that someone has a heart of gold? How many people do you know that you can honestly say "have a heart of gold?"

I have a 36 year old brother-in-law that I KNOW has the BIGGEST heart and an absolute heart of gold. His heart may have the same genetic material as the rest of us, but somewhere deep inside resides the extra... "the gold"!

Just listen to how positive Dale was when he found out exactly what is going on with his body:

"I have a genetic heart problem and I am going to need basically a quadruple bypass. So a vein is taken from my leg, they hit the off switch on my heart, hook it up and back to running. It's gonna be a long, hard road, but I am going to make it. Won't lie and say I wasn't down about it, but this is the hand I'm dealt, so I'm gonna play it. Don't know how much more I'll be able to post until after, but let me say I appreciate all the warm words and prayers, and hope to see you all real soon."

Earlier this week Dale woke up in the middle of the night with a severe pain in his chest, jaw, and back.  He went to the emergency room thiking this may just be a panic attack, but instead he ended up having a mild heart attack!  Dale was sent to another hospital where more tests could be done and in doing so they found out it was much worse than they originally thought.  It turns out he has a coronary heart disease which is not common for someone at the young age of 36 years old!

Having a heart attack and needing a triple bypass surgery, and having coronary heart disease at the young age of 36 years old can be quite a stressfull, scary, eye opening life changing event.  There is enough stress that comes along with these things that I believe finances should be the last thing Dale and Trish have to worry about for quite some time!!

It's not easy telling the world about personal things especially when it involves money and financial problems.  For those of you who know Dale personally would agree that he would NEVER ask for a dime to help with any of his bills or anything else as long as he could help it.  However, we all know he is the first person to give you the shirt off his back to help anyone he can that is in need!  That is why I am starting this GoFundMe on his behalf.  I know just how much every donation will help Dale and Trish to get back on their feet while Dale is recovering.

I don't know exactly how much this whole surgery is going to cost when all is said and done, but a quick Google search estimated that it can cost anywhere between $70,000-$200,000!!!  What I am hoping for this is that anyone who feels like they can afford to donate even the smallest amount will do so.  If you are able to donate, please leave Dale and Trish a thoughtful message so they can go through and read each and every message once they are back at home and settled in.  I know it would mean the world to them to know how many people are thinking of them and care about them!

I know Dale and Trish are very thankful to have the support of their families, friends, and the community. I am positive they appreciate each and everyone of your prayers and any help you can give them!
