Hi my name is Carey and I am fundraising for my sister and her new husband, Jani and Paul Barton. They have 6 children between them (3 of the 6 are still in the home, and 2 in college), 3 dogs, 2 cats, and a sweet bunny named Oreo. Their family home caught fire this morning (Friday, January 19, 2024). Everyone is okay but the house is a total loss. Although the Red Cross, Insurance, and other agencies are providing aid, the kids lost all their toys, the college students lost belongings as well. My niece Allison lost her vast library of books. My nephew Remington lost 50+ Funko Pops. Paul's girls lost their Christmas and birthday presents. My sister and Paul lost everything. They grabbed the pets and fled into the snow in their pajamas. My sister was so proud of her house. It was a place of family and laughter. We are raising funds to help with replacing a lifetime of stuff lost in a moment.
