Wings of Freedom, Vets to Iwo Jima

Tax deductible
We need your help! No contribution is too small!

Please support the Daughters of World War II as we escort WWII veterans back to Guam and Iwo Jima for the Reunion of Honor Tour, March 14-21.

We have the honor and privledge of sending a number of national heroes such as Fiske Hanley, Don Graves, and many others  to their battlefield one last time.

Fiske Hanley was held captive in the same Japanese camp as Louis Zamperini the basis of the blockbuster hit, Unbroken

Don Graves witnessed the flag raising atop Mount Suribachi.

We are raising funds to cover meals, lodging and transportation costs for our nation's heroes. Each Veteran is accompanied by a trained escort and medical personnel to ensure a safe, memorable trip for our veterans, with all expenses paid and all arrangements made.

We are counting on private individuals like you, who value the courage of our Greatest Generation, to join us in honoring their distinguished service to our country by helping their dreams of returning to the battlefields where they so valiantly fought, come true.

Please see the CBS coverage of our 2013 trip to Iwo Jima, for the story of Don Graves, Marine, who witnessed the flag raising:
