Support Queer Creators: Fund Their Stories
Donation protected
DRIP is for us – a short film festival in NYC & online, exclusively featuring Queer & Trans artists. This festival is a curated selection of short films that center the experiences and passions of LGBTQIA+ folks who hold additional marginalized identities not often celebrated in media. This includes BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color), disabled folks, and fat folks.
DRIP was created to fill this void and provide the tri-state area and global communities with access to LGBTQIA+ created and distributed content. Our stories, our bodies, and our pleasure matter. We have curated a variety of themes centering trans joy, disability justice, queer Camp, & bodily autonomy.
DRIP is also one of the few festivals committed to paying artists screening fees. We hope that offering compensation will encourage and empower more folks to create their own art, pay for the content they consume, and return resources and profit back to the community.
We need your help.
With ticket sales alone, we can't reach our goal of offering meaningful compensation for artists. Please donate whatever you can to help ensure that DRIP is not only a successful event, but that the filmmakers are rightly compensated for their work.
By donating, you will not only be personally paying artists (100% of donations go into our filmmaker fund), but you’ll also aid in the broader mission of ensuring that independent filmmakers are fairly compensated for their labor and the enjoyment of their art.
