Help Getting My Car Fixed After Being T-Boned

On October 21st 2019 I was coming home from visiting my mother who was in the hospital when I and another driver were T-boned by a police officer who went through a red light. Lights and Sirens were not heard bu any witnesses to the crash, everyone at the department who investigated the crash placed the officer at fault, the officer was cited for the crash. I have sustained some back and hip injuries and am trying to sort through those health insurance is taking care of those but because there is 3rd party liability I’ll have to take care of those later but that’s for lawyers to sort out. In the mean time I need to get my car road worthy again it’s currently at the shop so I can try and get back to some sense of normalcy. The city of Denver has denied my claims for damage so I’m having to bring forward a long drawn out legal battle I just can’t wait that long to get the car fixed. It’s supposed to be done in about 2-3 weeks depending on part suppliers and any other hidden damage.
