The Del Mar High School  Performing Arts serves a culturally and economically diverse population in the heart of Silicon Valley.  Unlike many of the schools that surround us, however, we have a very high percentage of kids on free and reduced lunch programs, as well as most families living in multi unit apartments instead of single family homes.

Our band program has grown to a point where we need to upgrade our equipment including a new sound system for our front ensemble, a golf cart and trailer for hauling front ensemble equipment and additional staff to help our young musicians grow and fulfill their potential.   We will also be adding 2 new bands next year and will need instruments and equipment to help them.

Our Choir and Drama programs are also growing a substantial rate.  We will need additional uniforms and music for our choir and new technologies for our theatre arts students to work with.  Many of our students go on to pre-professional training programs through colleges and in professional theatres,

These young artists are among the best students on our campus, many in AP and IB courses, in addition to the hours required to produce their award winning shows year in and year out.  Your contribution will greatly enhance the opportunities we can provide for these outstanding young people.
