Life of the party, DJ Blaze, needs our help. As a two time cancer survivor from a very young age, he is currently fighting one of his biggest health battles yet.

Having just one kidney, and functioning at 30%, Blaze has recently contracted a serious infection. With a goal of $60k, he needs our help now to find a kidney match and donor more than ever.

His presence means so much to so many people. DJ Blaze brings incredible energy to everyone who knows or meets him, in any environment, whether in conversation or on the turntables.

The average kidney transplant surgery ranges anywhere from $160k- $300k with little to no insurance, not including out-of-hospital bills.

Blaze’s Story:

At the young age of 11 I was diagnosed with Ewing Circoma Cancer, six months of Chemotherapy followed by six months of Radiation. The Radiation Treatment I received early on caused permanent damage to both kidneys and has had lasting effects on my health as an adult.

After living almost worry free for 15 years, I was diagnosed with Cancer for the second time at the age of 30. Even though I had to deal with this horrible deadly disease again I remained grateful. The stress of the second cancer diagnosis put a toll on my body which caused the loss of my right kidney. Now, I’m facing a new health challenge in my life.

I’m suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease and my remaining Left Kidney is functioning at only 30%. During a 3 week stay in the hospital September 2020, I was forced to face many hard truths about my well-being. Dialysis will be an option in the near future, but in order to continue living a healthy life, I am in need of a new kidney.

After many doctor’s appointments over the last few months, I was informed that I am healthy enough to receive a Kidney transplant and have been placed on the Organ Donor List. While this news was amazing to hear, I was quickly reminded that the wait time for me to find a match could take upwards of 10 years.

Unfortunately, tomorrow is not promised to any of us and after speaking with a dear friend, I was encouraged to create this page. Any size donation will be greatly appreciated to cover partial medical expenses. Thank you!
