Hi, my name is Dan and I am fundraising for Birmingham Children's Hospital.

Being unwell and in hospital can be challenging, frightening and often isolating for people who are already feeling vulnerable. Imagine feeling like that but as a child.

I am trying to raise as much money as possible to help fund an incredible project to take those feelings away from the children and their families for just a few hours through the power of Cinema! Birmingham Children's Hospital are partnering with MediCinema to build a state of the art Cinema within the walls of the Birmingham Children's Hospital. MediCinema have data that proves the power of cinema can help to reduce pain, anxiety, stress, and feelings of isolation. It will give those in hospital a sense of normality and a sense of being connected to others by getting to see the latest blockbuster films at the same time as their friends at school and their siblings or wider family.
