Cynthia's Independence
Donation protected
My sister, Cynthia Vos is like many women her age. She loves cooking, art, playing with her 8 nieces and nephews, looking after her pets and of course spending time with her husband Brent.
On May 12, 2014, her life changed forever when she suffered a severe home accident that left her permanently paralyzed from the sternum down. Cynthia has been at the U of A hospital and then the Glenrose hospital since her accident and will be returning home in September.
It goes without saying her journey to full independence will be a challenge and very costly.
Cynthia and Brent had to move and purchase a new home to ease the transition.
To get her back to independence she needs:
- Lifts installed
- A new bed and other furniture
- Bathroom modifications
- Kitchen modifications
- Vehicle modifications
As well as other costs.
We are asking for donations that will help her raise money to get her back to enjoying the things she loves. Any help would be hugely appreciated by anyone in Cynthia’s life.
