Hi Everyone! My name is Jaime Sullivan. I am 41 years old and have had Lyme Disease for 13 years.
Let me begin by saying thank you for taking the time to read this page. I never would have imagined being on this Lyme journey, speaking about this so openly or asking for financial assistance.
When this all began I had many symptoms: seizures, migraines, severe fatigue, joint pain, memory loss and a variety of unexplained neurological symptoms. After pushing and pushing my body to continue on it was beginning to be over run by the disease. I was forced to end the career that I had worked so hard for and move home for my amazing family to take care of me.
Since 2006, I have been to countless physicians and specialists with my mom Cathy by my side. I have had numerous diagnosis including Rheumatoid Arthritis, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Migraine, and Episodic Seizures to name a few. It wasn't until I found a Lyme Literate Physician that I was diagnosed with Chronic Neurological Lyme Disease and the co-infections of Bartonella, Mycoplasma, and Viruses. I have taken numerous medication and yet my symptoms continue to persist and in some cases get worse.
I have no recollection of being bit by a tick and never had the infamous bulls eye rash. The longer that this bacteria, viruses and infection digs into my tissues, cells and organs the more devastating it will be to my body. I currently have issues with bone pain in my neck and back, arthritis in my knees and shoulders, continued migraines, GI issues, severe fatigue and cognitive issues.
Lyme treatment is not covered by insurance and has been tremendously financially taxing on my family and myself. If not treated aggressively and intensively this disease will continue to infiltrate my body. I need your help to raise funds for treatment at Lyme Mexico. This treatment will cost between $25,000-$40,000. This is the one hope I have to get my life back.
This treatment includes: Labs, Blood Work Testing; Medication and Supplementation; Infusions for Detoxification; Blood Transfusions; Daily and Around the Clock Doctor and Nursing Care.
