Crystal's Chance to go to France

My name is Crystal Cotton. I am an Actress. And I was just nominated for Best Lead Actress at the St Tropez International Film Festival for my film "The Naked Truth About Fairies".
Yessss Way!!!! Mee!!! This is definitely a first! Not only was I nominated but also the film itself was nominated for best short and the jury award, where yours truly played of course.... The Fairy Godmother, so please believe I have a very vivid description of what it looks like over the moon right now!
It would be too much like right if I could just jump in my car and drive a few miles to get there. No sir! The first time I am recognized for my work in this way is all the way across the globe in beautiful and expensive Nice, France. I don't think my Oldsmobile with no AC and the missing hubcap is going to make it that far.
So that is why I'm here. As many an affirmations I have made that my acting career provides my bank account with an ample amount of dividends to get me there and back and still have a place to live, it sorely does not.
I am asking everyone - to remember their first time- or maybe not. The point is... It should be special, and this is a huge accomplishment, and I only get one first time, so I'd like to make the most out of it. I always imagined bringing my parents to something like this for all the times they have sat through all the community theaters, hot black box theaters, school shows, helped me with my lines, drove me back and forth to rehearsals-- to yes have them sit through another long ceremony. Unfortunately my dad’s life was ended in a violent arm robbery in 2008 but thankfully I still have my mom. If I can raise enough money for myself an her to go it would truly be a blessing to share this experience with her and I would be eternally grateful and will always and forever pay it forward.
The Festival takes place May 11-16, 2015. There's not a lot of time and a whole lot of donuts to make.
So please whatever you can give would be enthusiastically appreciated!
