Crusaders for Cory

Hi everyone, my name is Heather and I am trying to raise money for my brother Cory Cummings. A couple weeks ago, on June 26th, my brother suffered an extremely serious fall. He was left with a severely fractured skull, seven broken ribs, a broken arm, and a chipped pelvic bone and two severe wounds to his arm and leg.  The doctors say he was "inches away from losing his life." After being intubated for 10 days, and two lengthy surgeries, one for his skull and another for his broken arm, he finally woke up July 5th.  Since then, Cory is beginning to take a few steps with help and is trying to begin the healing process.  The doctors have said he is okay to enter a rehabilitation facility for a traumatic brain injury, and are in the process of transferring him. Rehabilitation will help to restore cognitive  functions and motor skills due to the brain injury, along with helping him to use his right arm again after the break. I am hoping to be able to offset some of the medical expenses Cory has and will incur. In addition, I would like to help reimburse expenses my parents have incurred in all their travels to and from NYC, along with their future travels to help Cory through the rehabilitation process.  Please join me in bringing my loveable, kind, funny, and intelligent little brother back to good health.
