Arts and Creativity Fundraiser

To enable the Arts and Creativity Faculty at Dumfries Academy invest in creative resources to promote creative careers to all our pupils, we are reaching out to our community to help us with fundraising for the Arts and Creativity faculty to invest in new equipment and instruments for the Art, Drama and Music departments.

As Dumfries Academy has a long and celebrated history as part of Dumfries town centre; we have offered a lot to the cultural landscape and our subjects have been proud to support the beginning of many careers in the Arts of people who began their craft in our classrooms. We are hoping that individuals and local businesses will help us purchase the items we need to replace broken and outmoded equipment.

We are organising a series of fundraisers. We have had an art auction, and been awarded a grant from the Holywood Trust.

CURRENTLY one of our pupils, James, is attempting to complete a 6000pc Jigsaw and is seeking sponsors to help motivate him.

All monetary donations will be collected here on our ‘Gofundme’ page or directly through the school.
