Craig and Malia

Hi I’m Kelly, Malia’s Mom.

Wednesday Craig ( our son in law) was in a really bad motorcycle accident. Still waiting to find out all his injuries but we do know his neck is fractured , stitches in his right leg, at the scene thankfully his friend who always has emergency supplies on him was driving by & pulled-over to put a tourniquet around his leg. He said he could see his bone. He injured his shoulder and he’s been having short term memory issues. At 1st when asked what he did for a living he went back 3 years ago. After about 13hrs we could see little changes that showed us his memory was getting better. & it did. Still has no recollection of anything even though he was up & talking to Malia the entire time.

As of right now we know he will be in a brace and possibly casts for at least 3 months.

They just recently moved into a place of their own for the 1st time. Craig will be out of work and Malia does work full time from home , but she will be his primary caregiver along with the kids. Even though they have an amazing support system around them, They will need help with their monthly expenses while Craig recovers. I will definitely keep everyone updated on his injuries and progress.
