My name is Craig Torum, and I’m reaching out for support as I battle a life-threatening illness. After exhausting local treatment options, I've been advised to seek advanced care at #MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas—one of the top cancer treatment centers in the world.

After 10 months of battling #cancer and a successful surgery, the cancer has spread. Managing treatment, work, and mounting expenses has become overwhelming. The financial strain, coupled with the emotional toll, makes it difficult to keep up. Any support would be deeply appreciated during this challenging time.

Though the road has been tough, I remain hopeful. The specialists at MD Anderson offer cutting-edge treatments that could greatly improve my chances of recovery. However, the costs associated with traveling to Houston and staying there for treatment are overwhelming. I’m humbly asking for your support in helping fund my travel, accommodations, and medical expenses.

MD Anderson has helped countless individuals with innovative therapies and treatments not available in my current location (#Moffitt). The expertise there gives me hope for a brighter future, but the financial burden is daunting.

Here’s a breakdown of the costs I’m facing:

* Travel Expenses From #Tampa, Florida: Round-trip flight for me, plus local transportation, are expected to total around $1,700.

* Accommodations #Houston: If I need to stay in Houston for an extended period, which could cost approximately $22,800 per month.

* Medical Treatment: While insurance covers part of the treatment, out-of-pocket expenses like co-pays, medications, and therapies are estimated at $3,100.

* Living Expenses: Additional daily expenses (10 days) for food and transportation in Houston are expected to be around $2,800.

My goal is to raise $7,600 to cover these costs for the initial 10 days. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a significant difference.
