Cassie's Medical & Family's Expense

My sister-in-law Cassie was in a life-changing accident on August 4th. As a result, she woke from surgery without her left arm. Since then she's undergone surgery & intense pain. She's a strong person and is handling all of the emotions that go along with this loss as best as possible. While many family members and friends have been supportive both emotionally and financially, we've decided, with Cassie's approval, to start a funding campaign to help with some of the current & future expenses. Thank you to everyone for their thoughts, prayers and support.
Her medical bills seem to be under control for the time being, but could increase dramatically as discussions of further treatment (rehab, prosthetic, etc) are still pending. She was discharged from the local hospital a week after the accident, but has needed to stay near medical care since then at hotels. Cassie, Veronica (her wife & my sister) and Tess (Cassie's mom) are currently en route to Portland, OR to receive further care at the Portland VA hospital. While Cassie is recovering, Tess & Veronica must remain nearby and the costs of hotel bills & food will quickly add up.
