Corey’s Cure

Donation protected
Hi, we are the Rothgeb family and we are raising money to ‘Cure Corey’ of Muscular Dystrophy. Corey Rothgeb is an athlete, coach, father, husband, and son who lost the ability to walk at 28 years old. Corey was diagnosed with Myoshi Myopathy, a limb-girdle form of Muscular Dystrophy, at 24 years old. Since then, his limbs (specifically leg muscles) have wasted away and taken away his hobbies and his career path of becoming a police officer. Through this, Corey has never given up and has relied heavily on his faith and belief that he can walk again. He has spent countless hours researching, studying science trials, and even collaborating with doctors to share ideas and discuss medical progress. Through his collaboration and studies, we have discovered that the science and medical advances support a cure. However, LGMD is so rare that the “payback” for curing this disease would not be enough for big companies to support. Therefore, Corey has taken it into his own hands to raise money to cure this disease. Thanks to scientists and specialists in Washington DC, Corey has the opportunity to cure himself and at least 5,000 others with this life altering condition.
Please consider donating to ‘Cure Corey’. 100% of proceeds will go directly to Corey’s medical care and research, including potential clinical trials, lab studies, and some nice walking shoes for him at the end. Corey, his wife, his daughter, and all of his family appreciate each and every donation and prayer as we continue this journey to ‘Cure Corey’.
