Hi my name is Anne, resident of Mijas

The situation of Mijas donkeys is changing and is taking a new orientation as the new government of Mijas arrived a year ago. They quickly created an Animal Wellfare department which had never existed before.

Thanks to our demonstration in August 2024, the Town Hall is preparing a project to remove the donkeys from the streets of Mijas Pueblo (piece of land, new stable, new activity) If not needed for the project, the money will be given to local donkey shelters.

Hola, me llamo Anne, soy vecina de Mijas.

La situación de los burros de Mijas está cambiando y está tomando una nueva orientación desde que hace un año llegó el nuevo gobierno de Mijas. Rápidamente crearon un departamento de Bienestar Animal que nunca antes había existido.

Gracias a nuestra manifestación en agosto de 2024, el Ayuntamiento está preparando un proyecto para retirar a los burros de las calles de Mijas Pueblo (terreno, nuevo establo, nueva actividad). Si no se necesita para el proyecto, el dinero se entregará a los refugios locales de burros.
