Connie Pouliot Cancer Benefit

This is my sister, Connie Pouliot.  She has been in and out of the hospital quite a bit recently with one complication after another when we finally were given a diagnosis.  The Doctor said "You have cancer."  You can't imagine how devistating it is to hear those words and how your life changes at that moment.   Connie was diagnosed with stage III Colon Cancer and is just beginning her very long journey of chemotherapy treatments, surgery, and radiation.  Connie is in a lot of pain and is very sick from the chemotherapy and unable to work for the next several months while undergoing treatments.  Connie has custody of her two Grandchildren, Kaden 4, and Haley 14.  She is also the sole provider for her and the kids.  Unable to work and medical expenses stacking up has caused a financial hardship for her.  Connie recently purchased a home for her and the kids 2 years ago and I would hate to see her loose their home because of stupid cancer.   The expense of having to commute to the University of Minnesota on a regular basis for appointments is costly as well.  Connie does not have a dependable car so she needs to borrow someones car or find rides to her treatments.  Having to worry about having cancer is enough stress to deal with and having to deal with financial problems on top of that is too much for anyone to endure. So this is why I am starting this Go Fund Me account.  The money will help pay for Connie's mortgage payments, medical expenses, and day to day living expenses for her and the kids. We will be having a benefit for Connie after the holidays but several people have inquired about a Go Fund Me account so they can contribute if unable to make the benefit.   Watch for more information about the benefit real soon!  I can't thank you enough from the bottom of my heart for your contributions and support.
