My mom recently suffered a stroke that caused a brain bleed. The doctors were able to remove the bleed, but right now, we don’t know the full extent of the damage or how her motor skills will be affected. It’s a scary and uncertain time for our family as we wait and hope for the best possible outcome.

Because my mom doesn’t have health insurance, the medical bills are already piling up. She will need ongoing rehab and support, and there are so many other expenses that come with a sudden health crisis like this. Every little bit will help us cover her care and give her the best chance at recovery.
