The LA Theater Community NEEDS YOU!
We are simply being honest: The Complex Hollywood is struggling to stay alive even as the pandemic is becoming under control. We are asking today for your support to keep the Complex Hollywood from going permanently dark.
Los Angeles County mandated that we shut our doors on March 16th, 2020 due to Covid-19, and since then there has been NO relief for monthly rent payments. Without your support, this essential and necessary cultural hub in our city of angels might close its doors permanently. This situation is dire, but we are hopeful that your love and support will let us keep providing the city and its artistic community with a safe space for us all.
We know you cherish the sense of community that the Complex Hollywood fosters, our support to artists, our stellar performances, our openness and willingness to go the extra mile for our artists and their work. The connections, festivals, karaoke parties, the celebrations of creativity, the theatrical home we aspire to provide — please give generously to our fund.
The money raised will pay back the $140K in back rent, our utilities which total $7000 and to assist us in surviving a slow 2021. Without audiences it's going to be a real challenge!
Theatres in Los Angeles and around the country are being reopened at a very slow pace. We are endeavoring to ride the storm out, but need assistance staying afloat until we are all back to some kind of normal!
We want to be here for you on the other side of this pandemic. We miss hugging you. Please help if you can.

We have been serving the Theatrical community since the early 1970’s from our location on Santa Monica Blvd in the heart of Hollywood’s Theatre Row. Our 5 theatres and 5 studios offer low cost alternatives for classes, rehearsals, auditions, film shoots, screenings and live theatrical performances.
Our dedicated team of theatre professionals assist artists in realizing their creative vision from inception to final curtain. Serving as the training ground for artists of all ages, disciplines and levels of experience. We are constantly connecting artists to one another in an effort to facilitate collaborations which then strengthen our community. We are a diverse family that celebrates and strives to amplify each unique voice. We are the place where the stars of tomorrow perform today.
We have weathered many incarnations and economic downturns, we ask help now to survive this plague upon our houses.
Community matters, safe space matters, Theatre matters. With your help, we can save this one.
Please give generously and share this page with friends. Thank you.
