Support Common Roots' Studio Album Dreams

Hi! We are Common Roots, a brothers-sister duo out of Northwest Arkansas. We are raising money to fund the rest of our album project. “I See the Dawn” will be our debut album, featuring 12 songs written by Jeremy Morris and Lacy Hampton, recorded at award winning Crisp Recording. After our Arkansas Country Music Awards win last year, we decided it was time to focus our efforts toward our album. We believe these songs will showcase our sound and get our music out to on a wider scale. We are excited to see it all take shape and to see where things go!

We have been “Common Roots” for 7 years. While we have two former project albums worth of material (which we self-produced and crowd funded) that we are proud of, we only have a couple singles you can find under our current name, that showcase the sound we’ve developed as a duo. Those two singles have already made waves. Our “Can’t Let Go,” video won the Arkansas Tiny Desk Contest in 2023! “Falling for You,” has been used in promotional posts and videos. There is nothing more fulfilling than knowing your music has touched someone else. We can’t wait to share the other 10 songs and add more friends to the experience.

We have invited some world class musicians to join us on the album, who we will announce soon! This is our first STUDIO album. We have already laid down foundational tracks of all 12 songs. Next will be instrumentalists, mixing, mastering, and distribution. We want to do it well, and do it right! We could use your help!
