Please help us replace the very old and worn mattresses at the YWCA Pathways Shelter for women and children in Lynnwood Washington. The goal is 40 new mattresses.  We have found a very nice twin mattress for $109.45, including tax, on Amazon and can have them shipped at no charge. The need is great. These families need our help so they can sleep in a warm, clean and comfortable bed each night during their stay at the shelter. We met a very sweet little boy at the shelter the other day and he told me he couldn't sleep in his bed because he could feel the wood slats of the bed frame right through his thin mattress. So his mattress was added to his brother's mattress to make that bed somewhat comfortable and our little friend shared a mattress with his mom that is so worn out the springs are all but poking through the fabric of the mattress. We could not sleep peacefully until we knew that child had a comfortable bed and now we are asking you to help us do the same for every mom and child staying in the shelter, and for future residents.
