After soldiers return home from deployment they are scattered to the winds around the country. The absence of the poeple who have been by their side through once in a lifetime experiences leaves a void and an emptiness as they try to readjust to civilian life. On February 6, 2016, the Comanche Troop of the U.S. Army who served together in Iraq and Afghanistan will be having a reunion in Dallas, Texas. In spite of seeking help with veteran's organizations and working with the VA, these avenues are not always effective and the vets are frequently left to their own device to readjust best they can. What they miss more than anything is the comaraderie with their battle buddies. Not all can afford to purchase airfare, hotel, and food. This fundraiser will go to cover expenses so that no veteran of this troop will not be able to attend a much needed, emotionally healing reunion with brothers and sister in arms.
