Books for Daylight Center

Through my work at Way to Grow in North Minneapolis I have learned how important it is to read  to children, every day. On June 22, 2018 I am going to Daylight Center and School in Kapenguria, Kenya. I will be helping in the early chilhood center with reading, holding babies,  playing with children, and anything else that needs doing.
I will also be learning about early childhood education in Kenya while sharing my experiences working with families in the United States. For my project I would like to raise funds so the teachers can purchase quality children's books in their home languages. Any remaining funds will be  given to the teachers to  purchase additional books for thier Early Childhood Library.
Teachers know what their students need and I would like to provide them with the opportunity to purchase the books they need.
