Cody's Bone Marrow Transplant
Donation protected
Hello Friends and Family
As many of you know, Cody was born with a rare congenital anemia called Diamond-Blackfan Anemia (DBA). He was in remission for the past 12 years, however, his anemia has returned and he is in the planning stages of a bone marrow transplant. Once a donor is found and the transplant is approved they will be heading to Rochester for about 3 months to get ready for, have, and recover from the transplant. Yes, they will have to LIVE in Rochester for nearly 3 months!
The family is doing OK, Cody is going through transfusions on a regular bases and is shaking and fights being down right sick everyday. Colleen is working hard on keeping the schedule going and making all the plans needed for the transplant, and there is a lot to do. Kevin, Jess, and Joe are all working on work, school, and keeping the animals and house together.
They are all busy and tired, they can use your prayers and if you have a few extra dollars to help pay for the housing and medical bills that they are accruing that would be fantastic.
We will keep everybody up to date on this site.
Thank you in advance, God bless you!!!!
Love the Hibbard's and all the extensions of that!
