Cody Lynn gained his Angel ‘Wheels’ on Monday November 12, 2018 at just 22 years Young.  Cody’s Parents called him their MIRACLE baby from the Moment he was born!! Sadly, Cody’s Mom Bonnie just passed away in September.  Cody’s Father, Sherman is understandably HEARTBROKEN!! No parent should EVER have to experience the loss of their child, and definitely not so soon after losing their spouse!!  Cody was also a Brother, Uncle, Nephew, Cousin & Friend!! Cody was a Hard Working, Kind, Generous, Compassionate and Caring young man who was Loved by EVERYONE who knew him!! In addition to Cody’s Father, he was also like a son to his niece Amy & her Husband Tim; a Big Brother to their children Mariyah, Ashlynn & Lil Timmy.  At times living with them & bonding over BMX; Cody and Lil Timmy shared a TRULY SPECIAL BOND- not only brothers, but BEST FRIENDS!! Anyone who had the privilege of knowing Cody, knew just how much that Lil’ Boy meant to him; possessing that same Raw Natural Talent- Lil Timmy is definitely Cody’s protege!!

Although his life was short,  the Legacy of Cody Lynn will NEVER be forgotten!!  Cody quickly made a name for himself in the BMX world; starting out at Hagerstown BMX years ago, and recently Receiving his PRO card & racing in his 1st PRO BMX race as part of the Free Agent BMX Team!! Cody possessed a Natural Talent that blew EVERYONE away!! The BMX community all over the USA has been FOREVER CHANGED; watching Cody’s Talent & now grieving his Tragic Loss!! Hagerstown BMX will NEVER be the same; not only was Cody a Legend at H-BMX, he was a Mentor to ALL of the younger riders. Cody was so Passionate about BMX & that showed as he took time out to truly Teach the next generation of BMX riders.  Cody had such great patience, his personality made it easy for other riders to feel comfortable with him & he had the ability to truly PUSH them to be their very best, yet also comfort them if their confidence slipped!  Cody Lynn was a FIERCE Competitor in the BMX community & his presence will be Missed More than words can express!!

Cody’s untimely passing has left a Family already heartbroken and grieving a recent loss,  absolutely Devastated.  An entire community shocked by an act of Senseless Violence that has taken such a Positive Role Model.  Cody’s Family NEEDS to have the support of the entire Community that Loved him!! Memorial Services are expensive, especially when they come unexpectedly.  Please help Cody’s Family during their time of need, so that they can Grieve without financial Stresses.  No amount is too small; Every $1 truly does count in times like this.  Please Continue to Pray for Cody’s Family & Everyone who Loved him!!
