Hi, my name is Brittany, and I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of Cody Brown, the father of our two boys — Wyatt (8) and Waylen (6). Cody was recently and unexpectedly diagnosed with stage IV non-Hodgkin’s double hit lymphoma, an aggressive and rare form of cancer that has turned all of our lives upside down.

His symptoms started back in April, but it took months of unanswered questions and worsening pain before we finally got a diagnosis. On June 25, Cody was admitted to Summerlin Hospital, where he immediately began some of the most intense chemotherapy available.

Double hit lymphoma is a rare subtype of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma that grows and spreads rapidly. It’s called “double hit” because of mutations in two key genes, making it especially difficult to treat. By the time doctors identified it, it had already progressed to stage IV.

We are doing our best to stay strong, but the emotional and financial weight is overwhelming. We’re juggling hospital visits, basic errands, and soon, school drop-offs and pickups, all while trying to keep some sense of normalcy for the boys.

We’re asking for help to cover:

Transportation

Out-of-pocket medical expenses

School supplies, clothes, and stability for Wyatt and Waylen

Basic needs for Cody during this sudden life shift

This is one of the hardest things we’ve ever faced, but Cody is a fighter. He’s determined to beat this, to come home to his boys, and to get back to being the dad they know and love.
