Lindsey Coccoli's Memorial Fund

Donation protected
Sadly my beautiful, 34 year old, adorably-meatball-shaped sister, Lindsey Coccoli, lost her fight with heroin on January 17th, 2016 leaving my mother, father and I to mourn her loss.

She was my big sister. My buddy. My protector. My arch enemy at times and my "ride or die" Others. As cliche as it sounds, life must go on and I will work through sadness, anger, and fear creatively as well as healthily on my own time. As unfair, sudden, embarrassing, heartbreaking, and devastating losing my sister to heroin is, I know I am not alone. I know others have suffered as I have watching someone you love melt away at their own hand.

There is a silver lining that I have to acknowledge. I am still here. I have a purpose. I have a voice. Life is beautiful and the food here is too good. I get to walk onto a plane every other week, see the world and laugh my way to a paycheck. When I return home I have countless friends checking in, emailing, and texting just to let me know I'm loved. I made mistakes in my life and based on a quick study I did in the girls bathroom 10 minutes ago turns out I will continue to. I come from a place of love. I feel lost and I'm forcing myself to be completely at peace with that feeling.

This go fund me is to assist our family in unexpected expenses. Whatever you donate will ease our transition into this new phase of life.

Thank you all. JC Coccoli
