Coach Schmidt was in an accident while riding his bike on June 7th. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers as he will be going through a long recovery process.
I am a parent of a Cross Country and Track runner at Rock Ridge Highschool, where Brian currently teaches and coaches in Ashburn, Virginia. We are collecting funds to help offset his mounting medical bills. NO AMOUNT IS TOO SMALL. The Schmidts have access to withdraw funds at any point during the fundraising.

Dear family and friends,
Brian was in an accident yesterday while riding his bike. He is at the Trauma ICU at Fairfax Hospital with fractures, abrasions as well as internal injuries. He will need surgeries. Pray for Brian's healing and patience as he has a long recovery ahead. Please also pray for the young man who was driving the truck that hit Brian. Although I don't believe this driver was physically injured, he is just a little older than Jocelyn and we know that this has impacted him greatly.
