Taking Care of Coach Oz's Family

The man affectionately known as Coach Oz suffered a massive stroke on April 30. His brain functionality and chances of survival are both very grim.
As I process this terrible tragedy, I weep. Weep for a man who has changed countless lives in his very own special way. Whatever successes I have had in my life, a life that has been filled with different roles and leadership responsibilities, would not have been possible without the selfless, tough love I had the privilege of receiving from Coach Oz. I know this.
One of the toughest, and most principled man you will ever meet. His combination of strength and values combined with his passion for influencing kids in the game of basketball has changed the life trajectory of countless individuals.
The term selfless was used, because that is exactly how you'd describe his daily sacrifices that became the norm for the majority of his adult life.
I ask now to join me in paying it forward to Coach Oz's family. His wife and two kids will need help in so many different ways. Perhaps this GoFundMe campaign can help alleviate the financial stress that looms ahead.
