Coach Danny Rubino survived the most frightening and intense battle of his life during the past two years. He fought stage 3 colon cancer and has never stopped helping others during the entire fight. He contined to share his passion for the environment through volunteer work for multiple agencies despite losing his home, his job, and his life savings to medical bills.

Danny is now back in the hospital after a heart attack and surgery resulting in 3 stints. The tests also revealed a new mass of unknown origin on his pancreas. His fight is far from over.
