My name is Brianna Gonell, and I am a senior at Democracy Prep Charter High School in Harlem, NY. In an effort to honor my school’s motto, which is to work hard, go to college, and change the world, I created a project that focuses on enhancing the education of students through technology in the Dominican Republic. My aspiration is to ensure that children within the Dominican Republic have access to technology despite their socioeconomic status. All students deserve the opportunity of a quality education. Technology enhances the learning of students, yet impoverished schools are unable to provide computers. Provided by the donations received, I will be donating computers to La Escuela Primaria Francisco Xavier Billini located in Santo Domingo. With your contribution, students will be better prepared for college, globally informed, and one click away to a brighter future.
