fence for strays dogs in Cleveland Tx
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Zully Vasquez. I live in Cleveland, Texas colony ridge . At the beginning of this year, I made the decision to open the doors of my home and bring dogs in for rescue holds and short-term foster even when I knew I was not prepared, I was not equipped, but I DID it anyways because there is never a “right” time to be ready to do it with thousands of stray dogs here in this community. I chose to venture into the rescue world to save these souls without a voice and who can’t ask for help.
I am a regular mom and an independent street feeder, I got support from rescue friends with a few crates and a dog run in June 2023, and in less than a month I have helped around 30 dogs even by just putting them in safety for one night, holding them short-term, or long-term fostering with rescue backing! I am proud of what I have accomplished with a small kennel, a few crates, and a dog run! I just dream about all that I could do if I was more equipped! How many more stray angels I could save?
I am fundraising to build a fence to keep all the dogs that come to my property SAFE. The dogs that I bring to my house are strays; some are very feral, so I have had a few incidents where they have torn the kennel or dugout and tried to escape. In those moments, my world turns upside down because we have to catch them again or trap them again, I keep thinking they will get run over and injured; I may never see them again! I am doing what I can but I need your help, please can we all come together to provide safety for as many Cleveland, TX strays as possible?
