Cleondra and Ceiera Phillips
Cleondra is a co-worker and a friend of mine. About 3 months ago her daughter, Ceiera, was diagnosed with an extreamly rare disease called Castlemans Disease. This is a disease that only has between 160-200 cases world wide. Castlemans Disease is a disease of the lymphnoids and the related tissues. CD (castlemans disease) is not a cancer, it is a lymphoproliferative disorder which is a abnormal growth of lymph system.
It is tough to see a friend in need of help and I personally am not in the postion to help. I can't fathom the the thouhgt of my child enduring the pain and agony that she has to experience. There is nothing worst than having something wrong with your child and there is nothing that you can do about it. As parents we should come together to help when help is DEFINITELY needed. Cleondra is strong woman and loves her kids with everything in her body and to watch her come to work with the look upon her face is bothersome to me. She keeps it all together and does not want pity from no one but she needs help. So if you are reading this story then that means you care and with the woman of her caliber you would be helping a woman that is very much indeed APPRECIATIVE!!!!!
