Dear Friends,
I met Cindy over a decade ago. As many of you can attest, her warmth and her great laugh allowed people feel like they were part of her family. She welcomed me and everyone she met, with open arms.
Family was her purpose in life. Cindy and Kenny raised two wonderful children, Brad and Jay. When their boys married and started their own families, Cindy's heart grew. She gained two amazing daughters, Cat and Annie. With the birth of each grandchild, Kate, Gavin, Jack, and Lily, Cindy fell in love all over again. The smile on her face when she was with her grandchildren spoke volumes. She was loved.
Over the course of the last three weeks, Cindy's health deteriorated. She entered Baylor All Saints for a liver disorder and after being transferred to the ICU, she never returned home. Kenny has been by her side through it all. After forty-two years of marriage, he said his final goodbyes on July 31, 2015. Cindy was 62 years old.
In the coming weeks and months, Kenny is going to face a mountain of hospital and funeral expenses, which he will face head on. Please join me in helping Kenny with these unexpected costs. He is on the cusp of retirement and needs our help. We loved Cindy. She showered us all with kindness, amazing home cookin’, friendship, and love. Let us show our appreciation and love to Kenny. He is not alone in this journey. Kenny, we love you!
