Priscilla Internship in Guyana

Hi! its Priscilla, hope all is well in your world. In my world, I'm excited to announce that I will be graduating this Dec 2016, thank you for all the love & support shown through the years. But just before I walk to receive my Pre-Med degree,
I'm doing a medical internship in Guyana in August w/ an organization called H.E.R.O (Health And Educational Relief Organization). H.E.R.O is an organization that actively raises money and participates in various activities in the local Tallahassee community and we are going to Guyana to serve those in less privileged villages. During this medical trip it will also provide an opportunity for US students, healthcare professional, and community leaders of different backgrounds to interact and build a network. We're also going to provide basic health care to Guyanese residents, including those living in rural and inner city areas, and to increase community awareness of existing health and educational disparities in Guyana, cultivate a desire to serve and contribute to an overall development of underserved populations. We'll not only provide medical attention to patients but also work to brings members of the community personal health education as well as literacy advancement programs for students.
