Urgent: The Girls and I need short term help

I am a proud man, but I’m not too proud to ask for help when we truly need it. Right now, things are tough for everyone, and I wouldn’t be asking if I had another choice. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I’ve fallen behind on our car payment, credit cards, and other essential bills. We just need short-term help to get back on track.

I am still waiting on unemployment and my tax return—both of which have unknown arrival dates. Even when they come, they’ll only catch us up to zero, leaving us with nothing but the government assistance we rely on—assistance that may not be there in the future.

Over the last year, we have lost the girls’ mom, moved multiple times, and fought to create stability. We do not want to transition again, but we need help to stay afloat. Some of you may remember a GoFundMe was started in 2023 by the Dunn Family in the girls’ names after their mother passed. To this day, we have not received a single cent of the $19,000 raised, and we have no information on where that money went. I don’t even have the funds to hire a lawyer to fight for what was meant for the girls.

The details of this past year are personal and difficult to share, but I am an open book. If you have any questions or want more information about our situation, please don’t hesitate to reach out. For now, my focus is on the girls, our healing, and finding work to keep us going.

The good news: We have food, clothes, and a roof over our heads. The girls are safe, healthy, and loved. I just need help making sure it stays that way.
