I'm a Housing Coordinator on the Veteran's Team at Community Connections. We serve Homeless  or recently housed Veterans in Wahington DC.

We would like to raise money to provide Christmas Stockings and gifts to the 30 children who live with their Veteran parents.

Some of our Veterans and their families are in shelters and some have been recently housed. However, most are starting from scratch...no furniture, just items they could carry with them in shelters.

Our goal is to give each child a stocking filled with candy and at least one gift to unwrap. 

For many of our families, the stockings we provide will be the only gift they receive for Christmas.
