A Christmas for Orphans in Haiti

Hello my dear friends :)
I recently returned from Haiti where I had an opportunity to visit with an orphanage started by a pastor and his wife after the Haiti earthquake in 2010. I had a chance to personally spend time with these beautiful kids, learn about their stories and experience a glimpse of their life and their hardships. It is unimaginable what these children have gone through and the burdens that their little shoulders bear every day. No child should ever endure hunger, violence, homelessness and suffrage that these children have endured.
I felt immediate, unconditional love towards these children and I was changed within seconds of seeing their faces and feeling their pain. I knew right away, that there was a reason I was there and that there has to be something I can do to help them. I have come back and haven't stopped thinking about them and exploring opportunities to do more.
With this fund raiser, I am hoping to raise $3000 so that we can make a Christmas come true for these 17 kids. I imagine their little faces when they get to eat a big Christmas meal and open up gifts that they so rarely receive. The $3000 would go straight to the pastor who will then purchase food, clothing and toys for the kids for Christmas.
Please know that this money is going straight to this cause and I will post pictures of the kids receiving your gifts after Christmas so you can share in the joy of seeing them happy and knowing what an impact you have had on their lives.
