Christmas for the Kids

Hi guys-
As you may know, I worked at IC for six years serving youth identified with severe mental health issues and their families. The children were primarily referred following a psychiatric hospitalization or emergency. Most children had trauma histories that impacted their ability to perform daily life tasks. Many had parents who were battling physical or mental health issues as well.
The clients we served were at our below the FPL and experienced stresses in many more areas of their lives beyond mental health. Clients and their families were unable to pay utilities or provide consistent food and clothing.
With all the tragedy we see happening in the world as world as a result of unaddressed mental health issues, I hope we can come together and do something meaningful to build hope, connection, and meaning for people who truly need it. This year, I am collecting donations from friends and family to adopt families who will not be able to have Christmas this year.
