Chris' Recovery
Hello, my name is Candace Mott, sister of Chris Mott.
I am trying to create a fund to help Chris' recovery.
My brother Chris, is by far one of the most amazing people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He is fun, energetic, quick witted and a true gentleman. Former marine, Chris now lives in Winston Salem, NC. While making a living and caring for his beloved dog, Atlas, he had found a true way of life. He became an A licensed skydiver. He fell in love instantly, and was the happiest he had been in a long time.

On December 20th 2015 Chris was in transit on the way to the DZ to go for a sunrise skydive in Chester SC. He lost control of his car trying to avoid a deer in the road. The car rolled over 4 times, on the second, ejecting him out of the front driver's windshield of his car. He broke his neck in four places. After a four hour surgery he came out still moving his toes, and back at 3' o 'clock that Sunday.

He is very lucky to be alive. After two transfused rods going into his vertibre, twenty five staples, and three nights in the hospital, he was able to go home. Unfortunately for Chris, his car was completely totaled. He was layed off just a week before the accident due to payroll elimination. With his broken neck, he will not be able to work for the next year, nor skydive.
After countless appointments, and medication, with also being out of a car, Chris needs your help. After losing his job, his health insurance was cancelled and can no longer recieve the help that he needs to get back on his feet. Without a car, he can no longer go to his own appointments without someone to drive him, he can't take his dog, Atlas, to the park like he use to everyday. He can no longer go to the DZ to watch his friends skydive and be part of the community. He lost it all in just in an instant.

I, and my my family are asking you for your help. Please help my brother in this long recovery. The money will be used soley for prescriptions, appointments, and towards a car that he can use for grocery shopping and seeing family. He will be needing the funds by the end of February to get back on his feet and meet due payments.
It means so much to my family and I that Chris' recovery is as easy as possible and he is able to come back stronger than he was before. Though it may be a long time for him to return to skydiving and his normal life, he stills thanks God for saving his life. Him and his family including myself am very thankful for any help.
Thank you,
- Candace
