Wounded Warrior Chris Galbreath Fund

Christopher Galbreath suffered a catastrophic accident on the morning of September 30, 2016. It's only through God's grace he is even alive!

Chris is an Afghanistan Veteran. More specifically, he is a Wounded Vet and he received the Purple Heart for the injuries sustained during his deployment when his Stryker vehicle was blown up by an IED in early 2010. They had a toddler and a newborn baby at the time of that injury. He was part of the Wounded Warrior program and was later medically retired from service. Now, 6 1/2yrs later, he sustains multiple, more traumatic, injuries on "American soil" where you assume things are safer than overseas in a wartime setting. They now have 5 children with the youngest turning 1yr old at the end of this month. And one of their daughters turns 5yrs old next week. Please remember this family in your prayers. They have endured a lot as a family but never more so than now. Thank you for your support.

On Friday, September 30th, Christopher was walking to the bus stop for a normal end of the working week at the Naval Shipyard in Bremerton.

A car struck Christopher.

He has been in ICU since.

Emergency teams worked quickly to save his life then quickly operated on his legs to save them. There was vacular surgeons that repaired what they could.  They scheduled an amputation for October 3rd.

Hebrews 11:1.  Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (KJV)

Doctors checked his legs Saturday, and the blood was flowing. Flowing enough to hold off on the amputation. Families and friends praised the Lord!

Amputation is still on hold. But the struggle is far from over.

Please keep praying for his life and the wisdom of the doctors.  Pray for Tiffany and the burdens that this stressful event is laying on her shoulders and on her family.  Prayers for their children too.  Pray unceasingly.

Christopher's life is still hanging in the balance.
