Chris Butcher is fighting a courageous battle with cancer. Despite the hardships and side effects that come along with this horrible disease, Chris remains positive and hopeful he can regain his health in the near future.
Chris was diagnosed with Stage 3B Colon Carcinoma in August 2013. Biopsies revealed the cancer was already within the Lymph System and therefore underwent surgery and six months of chemotherapy. The intent of the treatment was to decrease the chances of any future reoccurrence. Under the constant care of his medical team, Chris remained in remission for one year.
Unfortunately in February 2015, tests revealed the cancer had become active again and metastasized to both lungs and is now Stage 4.
Chris is currently disabled from work and undergoing chemotherapy and frequent testing and scans to try to slow the progress of the disease. As medical expenses continue to mount, we are asking for your help to help Chris, along with his entire family--his wife Karen and two children, Luke and Abby--to battle this dreadful disease!
No amount is too small and anything you can give is truly appreciated. Thank you for your gift to help this great family!
