Northern California’s Placerville fruit grower, Chris Hoover of Hooverville’s Mountain Grown Orchards, has suffered devastating damages to the fruit and trees in the recent severe rain and hail storms. Many of you know Chris for his wide variety and best tasting fruits and berries he grows and provides to loyal customers at various farmers markets and restaurants from Placerville to San Francisco.
Chris began his life of serving his community and country as a service member of the U.S. Army. Chris Hoover has managed and operated the family-owned Hooverville Orchards Mountain Grown Fruit business for more than 40 years.
Now family, long-time orchard workers, friends, and community members are rallying together to try to help Chris recover from the devastating physical and financial damages done to the trees and fruit by the severe storms.
Any amount you donate will help towards covering the costs and labor it will take to ensure the trees survive and the fruit makes it to the markets and restaurants. Your donation will also help to ensure Chris can continue to employ and pay the many people who provide the hard work involved in operating a large orchard like Hooverville’s. Thank you!
