I'm starting this campaign in order to raise the funds to in order to remodel her bathroom for my daughter Chloe. All of the funds will go towards to help remodel her bathroom to an accessible bathroom.
I'm a single mom to two of my wonderful kids with special needs. My daughter which has cerebral palsy, scoliosis, epilepsy and much more. Chloe was born 2 months early by an emergency cesarean section, due to having placenta previa that grew low at the time. When Chloe was born, the doctors told us that part of her brain was very much damaged due too periventricular leukomalacia, at the time she was born; she was able to talk just not able to walk, stand up, or crawl. Despite Chloe's condition and her ability, Chloe is quite a happy adult.
Chloe has been though at least eighteen different surgeries and more to come. She has had so far rhizotomy, hemangioma, two layer eye surgeries, even a baclofen pump which was placed by her stomach. Chloe will have an upcoming surgery on her spine due to her having scoliosis.
Chloe is very out going and always happy, when people meet her they just fell in love with her. We used to have a CCI dog for her but sadly he passed away and she misses him a lot. She loves shopping and singing. Due to Chloe's challenges that she faces every day is her bathroom needs diapers, wipes, and medical gloves. Chloe also can't write so she uses technology like her computer.
As I cannot work because I need to be at home with Chloe 24/7, I'm not able to get money to pay for her needs and Chloe's insurance does not pay for her medical needs anymore as she is considered an "adult". The funds since the pandemic has gotten worse. A lot of her needs are getting expensive and we personally do not have the funds to keep up with it.
