Help Little Red to Australia

Three years ago, with the encouragement of my dad, I signed up for my first duathlon in an effort to see what I wanted to do after my collegiate career of cross country and track/field - which was quickly ending in 2012.  Although I had very little knowledge of the sport my competitive nature could not resist the urge to take on the challenge!

The moment I crossed the finish line of my first race I knew that duathlons and triathlons had become my new passion!  I have loved learning all the challenges and disciplines required to be a top ranking competitor in these sports. I continue to learn something new every day that I train and with each race in which I compete.  I have made many new friendships and am grateful for those who have made this experience one of the most rewarding of my life! I hope to share my passion by teaching, coaching and encouraging people, young or old, to be involved in whatever sport or activity they enjoy and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

In the past 3 years I have earned:

USAT National AG Qualifier in Sprint and Olympic Distances
ITU World Duathlon Championship Qualifier 2013 Canada, 2014 Spain, and 2015 Australia
USAT Duathlon All American 2013 and 2014
USAT Duathlon AG National Champion back to back 2013 Olympic, 2014 Sprint
ITU World Duathlon AG Championships Silver Medalist 2013 Ottawa, Canada
Due to my dedicated efforts over the past (2014) season, this coming October, I will have the honor of competing at the ITU World Duathlon Championships in Australia as a member of Team USA!  Unfortunately, my dreams of competing have become more and more difficult, not due to a lack of discipline or ability, but because of my limited financial resources.

Team USA was created by USA Triathlon to be a team that will best represent the United States and compete in the International Triathlon Union's (ITU) world championships, attracting the best athletes who represent over 50 countries each year. To be selected to compete in these championships is truly a great honor. However the competition, in a sense, starts well before the games begin as each athlete must raise their own funds in order to compete.

I have sacrificed greatly for my dream and will continue to do whatever it takes to make it possible. The past three years of competitions have helped to motivate me and made me even more enthusiastic than ever before! However to get there I need as much help as I can get!

All donations will help fund my flights, accommodations, shipping of my bike to and from Australia, nutritional supplements, uniform, entry fees, and required accessories for my bike. Your donation/support is humbly and graciously accepted!

Thank you everyone for all your love and support for my passion and dreams!
