Hi there! My name is Nina Veaco, and I’m excited to share my confectionary dream with you. I’ve been working hard to open my own candy shop in downtown San Francisco, CA, and I need your help to make it a reality.

In the last year and a half I had the privilege of managing Shaw’s Candy, where I gained invaluable experience and insights into running a confectionery business. It was an incredible journey learning the ins and outs of operating a candy store, from managing inventory to customer service, and everything in between. Every day, I’m inspired by the joy that sweets bring to people’s lives, and I’m eager to create my own space where the community can experience that magic.

Cheeky Bits Sweets is a small-batch toffee company based in San Francisco, CA, dedicated to crafting exquisite, organic toffee that delights the senses. Founded in February 2020 by San Francisco native, Nina Veaco.

This toffee is a family recipe going back generations with a modern enhancement on ingredients and flavors! Cheeky Bits started with two core flavors, Milk and Dark Chocolate Almond Toffee as the business has grown, Cheeky Bits has added two new additions and fan favorites: Dark Chocolate Almond Toffee with Jacobsen Flake Salt and White Chocolate Peppermint Toffee. Cheeky Bits has recently added new products like a delicious Salted Caramel Sauce and Katie's Peanut Brittle made with tasty spanish peanuts.

Nina's hand-crafted creations are made with the finest ingredients, ensuring a luxurious taste experience that stands out from the rest. Perfectly tailored for discerning palates, our candy is a favorite among foodies who appreciate quality and indulgence.

Opening a candy shop in San Francisco is more than just a business venture—it's a dream I've been nurturing for years . I’ve always loved the vibrant, diverse spirit of San Francisco especially being a native (a unicorn if you will), and I can’t wait to contribute to that by offering a fun, welcoming space where people of all ages can enjoy high-quality locally made treats, popular candies and goodies, celebrate special occasions, and make sweet memories.
