Hello Family, Friends, and Supporters,
It brings me great sorrow and pain to come with news such as this. My son and last born, Chaz Delaney, passed away on July 3, 2022. Chaz was a bright, talented, and dedicated father, brother, uncle, son, friend, and family member who touched the lives of many with his smile, spirit, and infectious laugh. He also had a passion for basketball and football, which he played for many years as a child and teenager. Chaz leaves behind his daughters Chasidee and Kai, his mother, father, one brother, two sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
At 22 years old, Chaz was just starting out in life. His abrupt and unexpected passing didn't allow him to find his career, settle down and build a legacy for his two girls. It didn't allow him to enjoy life, see his daughters grow up, and plan for a future. As parents, our children are supposed to outlive us, not the other way around. We never thought we would have to prepare so soon for a tragedy like this. My heart is broken as I try to make sense of it all. Now I must lay my son to rest and it hurts me, even more, to know that I’m unable to solely fund his funeral services.
As we start to plan for his home-going we would like to give Chaz the memorial he deserves so that we can honor his memory and say our last goodbyes. We have started this Go Fund Me page to help with the cost of the funeral services and we’re humbly requesting your help. We’re in need of $6,000 by 07/24/2022 to finalize his home-going.
Our family appreciates all the emotional support you’ve been pouring out to us during this difficult time. Please consider donating as any amount will truly help honor the memory of my son, Chaz Delaney.
Thank you again for your support, love, and assistance. May God bless you and your families always
