Charles had a cardiac arrest on October 23, 2023, he had his LifeVest off because he had just gotten a shower (we had just started to nag him about wearing it again too- he hated it because of his psoriasis, which is why we tried to get an implanted device), we did CPR, and when the EMTs got here, they his heart pumping again, but weakly. They transported him to the hospital and they did everything that they could, but there's nothing left to do. He was an organ donor and his sister signed the paperwork for tissue donation. They are planning to start donation at 9pm or 10pm on 10/30/23.

Any funds raised will be used for all final expenses, such as the funeral, cremation, and urns. Any excess funds raised would go to his daughter, Leia Maiman (once she is an adult).
